Is the Mark3 street legal?
The Mark3 is a federally classified Low-Speed Vehicle (LSV). In most states that makes it legal on public roads posted 35 mph or less, and it can cross bigger roads at intersections. New York — our own home state — does not allow LSVs on public roads, and a handful of other states restrict them or have no LSV rules at all.

Do I need a driver’s license and insurance?
Yes. A Wink is a real motor vehicle: you register it, plate it, insure it, and drive it with a regular driver’s license, the same as a car. That’s exactly what the 17-digit VIN and Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin on every Mark3 exist for — they’re what your DMV and insurer need.
Can it really charge from a normal wall outlet?
Yes. The charger is built into the car. Plug into a standard 110V household outlet (Level 1), or a 220V appliance outlet (Level 2) if you have one. Going from 30% to 80% takes about four hours, and a full charge costs about a dollar. No wallbox, no rewiring, no public-charger scavenger hunt.
How far does it go on a charge?
75–85 miles. For perspective: about 60% of American car trips are under six miles, so a charge covers a lot of school runs, grocery loops, and pharmacy stops between visits to the outlet.
Why only 25 mph?
25 mph is the federal cap for Low-Speed Vehicles — and honestly, it’s the point. The Mark3 is built for the streets around your home, which are posted 35 mph or less. It isn’t trying to be a highway car; it’s trying to make the five-mile life easy, quiet, and cheap.
Does it have airbags? Is it crash-tested?
No and no — and we’d rather say that plainly than have you find out later. Federal LSV rules require neither, and no published crash data exists for this vehicle. What it does have: a reinforced steel unibody, 3-point belts at all four seats, dual-circuit power brakes, a backup camera, and a speed cap that keeps it on slow streets — the environment it’s engineered for.
How does delivery work?
Mark3s are in stock and typically ship within 72 hours of your order. Delivery to your door is free across the 48 contiguous states, and available to Canada; Hawaii and Alaska by arrangement.
What’s the warranty?
The vehicle carries a 1-year warranty and the battery a 4-year prorated warranty.* An extended warranty ($1,495) adds a year to each. One condition worth knowing up front: battery coverage requires a documented annual battery inspection, reported to Wink within a week of completion. Any local mechanic can do it under Sprout Service.

Is the deposit refundable?
Yes. The $250 deposit locks your price and is refundable within 14 days of your vehicle becoming available. No pressure is company policy, not a slogan.
Can I test drive one first?
Yes — in person in Manhattan NY, Hazlet NJ, or Wildwood FL (call ahead to confirm the location nearest you), or by live FaceTime tour from anywhere.
Who fixes it?
Any local mechanic, under Sprout Service: you pick the shop, Wink ships the parts overnight and supports the technician, and for warranty work Wink pays the shop directly. There’s also just less to fix — no oil, no plugs, no tune-ups.
